365 Days of Gratitude

Today, Tuesday, November 14, 2017, I am grateful for two things today! The first is the feedback I got from my Biology Instructor this session for a short essay I wrote on Stem Cells:

"Excellent write-up!  People often forget that we all started as ONE cell, and now every adult is made up of roughly 75 TRILLION cells!  Of course, there will be some cell loss over the lifespan of one's life, but stem cells allow the body to replenish that lose.  I see the idea of harvesting and cataloging iPSCs for patient-matched purposes coming to fruition in the distant future.  This will go a long way in terms of saving lives for people that need an organ transplant as you stated because of the decrease chances of immune rejection!
I glad you are enjoying the class!"
The second thing I am grateful for and excited about is the email I sent to my school's writing service to go over what I am sending out to newspapers and tv stations regarding my upcoming fundraiser. It is falling into place!!
What are you grateful for today? I would LOVE to hear ALL about it!
